Here’s an update on the Loomis/Painter thing.

Things learned so far: Fill the background with a neutral color and the white page won’t irradiated your eyes!

I just downloaded the free trial of Painter 11, and I’m buying it as soon as I have the scratch. In order to get more comfortable with the tablet and with painter (and because it’s a good idea anyway), I’m going through Loomis FDFAIW entirely in Painter. It’s an idea, anyway.

Here we go!

p.s. the notes… I always make notes on my sketches, and it seemed like a good idea, in order to build dexterity with the pen. It’s a very strange sensation, I don’t find it like drawing on paper at all.
